It will work great at the beach-I was just expecting a softer surface on one side with the waterproof on another side. It looks good, folds up nicely and has a handle.Its a plastic blanket with a flannel cover. Little to no padding at all.This is the second one we bought from the same brand, the first one was for a gift we made to my sister, she loved that much, that we decided to get one for us too. I love how easy is to fold it without help and how light is, so we can to take it with us all the time just in case we needed it. Definitely would buy it again.It’s a good cover. I don’t like the plastic feeling and when I got it it smelt like cigarettes which is odd. I used it at the park and it was fine. Can seat 2 people well.It is a compact beach mat and easy to store.I expected a fleece side and TARP side. Reviews were right, when it came out of the packaging it stunk so badly I had to take it straight outside to air it out for hours. The stink did go away but it was just not what I was looking for. Too much plastic feel to it. I was looking for something a bit softer on the top with a waterproof backing.柄３番を注文したが、２が届いた、交換（対応は返金のみの商品だった）の問い合わせをしたが、柄については理解不能な日本語のお返事でした。透明なビニールの袋越しでしたが、素材はかなりのビニールしている感じでした。
